What this website collects, why, and how to turn analytics off.

When you request an appointment

The booking form asks for the appliance type and brand, your name, phone number, postal code, a preferred date and time, and a description of the problem. We also record which page you sent it from. We use these details to contact you and arrange the repair.

A submitted request is stored in a Google Sheet in our Google Workspace account and emailed to our service inbox. Only our team can open them.

Bot protection

The form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a request comes from a person. Turnstile looks at technical information about your browser and connection. It does not receive what you type into the form.

Maps

The satellite maps on our home and Service Areas pages are provided by Mapbox. Your browser loads the map images directly from Mapbox, which receives your IP address and browser details to deliver it. No cookies are set for the map.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to count visits, see which pages are read, and learn how people find the site, for example from a Google search or a map listing. It sets cookies in your browser for this. We also count clicks on our phone number and completed booking requests. Google Analytics does not receive your name, phone number or anything else you type into the form.

The choice is saved in this browser only. You can also block cookies in your browser settings, or install Google’s opt-out add-on, which works on every site that uses Google Analytics.

Service providers

Our website runs on Cloudflare. Booking requests are kept in Google Workspace, analytics is provided by Google, and the satellite maps by Mapbox. These companies may process information outside Canada.
